The horticulturists at the National Park Service have revised their 2020 cherry blossom peak bloom forecast.
They now predict that they’ll reach peak bloom sometime between March 21 and 24. Their original prediction was March 27-30.
We’ve had several days of 70-plus-degree temperatures, which has been speeding progress along.

Last night, the Washington Post‘s Capital Weather Gang also revised their prediction, bringing it forward five days to March 20-24.
At this time of year, there are beautiful flowers to be had all over the place. Maybe in your backyard. Maybe in the local park.
