The Washington Post‘s Capital Weather Gang has revised their peak bloom prediction, bringing it forward five days. Their new prediction is that the cherry blossoms will reach peak bloom sometime between March 20 and 24.

The National Park Service prediction is still March 27-30, but don’t be surprised if it’s brought forward soon in light of the 70+-degree weather we’ve been seeing.
At this time of year, there are beautiful flowers to be had all over the place. Maybe in your backyard. Maybe in the local park.
