The Washington Post‘s Capital Weather Gang has revealed their prediction that DC’s cherry blossoms will reach peak bloom between March 25 and March 27.
That’s a little earlier than the historical average. They’re expecting warmer temperatures in the coming weeks, but not so warm as to push the bloom much earlier.

The National Park Service are expected to announce their prediction tomorrow.
